Unfortunately guests cannot be accommodated if they arrive without a booking. The house was built in 2009 & contains 2 private rooms and an opening dining area with 4/5 beds . With camp beds & mattresses a total of 20 is possible . At present, we only book 1 group in the lodge, irrespective of the number of beds . From 2009 to 2018, it hosted guests travelling only with Hidden Cambodia Adventure Tours & HC Dirt Bike Tours. Since May 2018, this is an experimental sustainable tourism project between 2 families in the village with the support of the community. It was inspected by the Director Of Tourism, Hon. Hidden Cambodia Dirt Bike Tours was established in 2001 operating out of Siem Reap At that time, Kok Ker, Preah Khan & Preah Vihear were practically unreachable, thought massive forested areas & single tracks. The ist well facliated by these adventure donor guests was built in 2004 in Koh Ker. Koh Ker Jungle lodge was subsequentially built in 2009. Since that , over 30 deep wells & 4 water reservoirs have been built in the Siem Reap & Preah Vihear provinces , from beyond Beng Meea as far as Preah Vihear Temple. For our guests , we have facilitated many other projects relating to school partnerships & heath education, cooperating with various NGO in the region. We are, however, most comfortable with well building. Ker Jungle lodge is now managed by two families . The homestay has always been made available to NGO's & community groups at greatly reduced rates. There is a wealth of these efforts to be seen in the village & beyond if guests are interested

This is the only place to stay near Koh Ker temple, which gives a wonderful opportunity to wander the ruins early morning before the tourist hordes descend as well as see a little bit of village life. The accommodation is quite basic - it is a large Khmer village house - but totally acceptable. You can buy food and drinks from restaurants near the main temple or arrange for food to be cooked for you at the lodge by the caretaker's wife. Decent food. Good value. HiddenCambodia were very efficient and helpful in arranging my stay there. All done by internet. An enjoyable and trouble free experience.
